Knit & Purl

I am new to knitting and having fun with it. Being self-taught, I am slow at the beginning of a project, sometimes starting over a couple of times to correct mistakes. In the end I have a beautiful, wearable result that I feel proud of making myself.

Now I want to learn to knit and have finally brought it back out.  I worked on the practice piece until I felt comfortable.  Then I unraveled it to start my first real knitting project.
